About This Experience

The hardest part of a sunrise boat trip in Mallorca is usually getting to the marina at five in the morning. MY SEA EXPERIENCE solves that by building the transfer into the fare: a coach collects you from one of eighteen points across Alcúdia and Can Picafort and brings you back to the same place afterwards.

The morning runs to a published shape. About forty minutes on the coach, a safety briefing and forty minutes of sailing out of Port d'Alcúdia, then thirty-five minutes in Alcúdia Bay with the dolphins and the photo stops, and forty minutes back. The boat itself is a small-group vessel, not an excursion catamaran.

A guide travels on board rather than leaving it to the skipper, and spends the time on the animals: how the bay's pods behave, why the boats hold their distance, what you are looking at when a dorsal fin cuts the surface. The operator frames the whole trip around conservation and keeping the approach respectful.

Sunrise is on the first excursion of the day only, and whether you see it depends on the weather. Later departures run the same route in full daylight.
